Those of a certain age may recall a TV show from the 1960s called Route 66. This popular TV show chronicled the adventures of two men from NYC traveling the highways of the US in search of adventure. The Great Southern Café
A Certificate of Excellence winner from 2015 through 2018, Great Southern Restaurant in Seaside has it covered; great food, reasonable pricing, kid-friendly menu, ambiance - the hungry traveler won’t go wrong pulling into this sumptuous spot. Often busy but well worth it.
The menu features seafood, steaks, burgers, locally sourced veggies and a tasty southern-style breakfast. For those with special diet concerns, they offer vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free dishes.

Bud & Alley’s Waterfront Restaurant & Bar
In the ever-changing world of restaurants, Bud and Alley’s is in it’s 34th year of business in Seaside, serving up popular dishes to guests who come from near and far to enjoy a meal and spectacular sunsets.

723 Whiskey Bravo Rooftop Bar
If you’re looking for a lovely place to relax and enjoy a nice cocktail and a beautiful view, 723 Whiskey Bravo is the spot. It tends to fill up around the 7pm happy hour, so be sure to arrive a tad early for top seating. If you are a sports fan, there are tv’s located throughout the bar and restaurant to keep you abreast of the latest sports highlights. The ownership describes their establishment as having a low-key elegance and a relaxed beach vibe. And the menu is very appetizing offering seafood, steaks, chicken and more.
